Casco Viejo Tequila is produced by the Camarena family in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. The Blanco expression is twice-distilled in copper pot stills and double-filtered, resulting in a tequila that balances floral notes like pink peppercorn and fresh sweet herbs with delicate fruit and citrus zest. The Reposado variant is lightly aged in ex-tequila casks, focusing on integrating oxygen with the agave spirit rather than imparting heavy oak influence, maintaining a bright, fresh, vegetal character.
