The agave is steam-cooked for 10 hours, fermented with a special yeast strain, and double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. Unique to Rooster Rojo, the tequila is blended with water filtered through Mexican silver, resulting in a smooth and clean profile. Tasting notes include fresh citrus and white pepper aromas, with a sweet agave flavor complemented by subtle peppery spice. The finish is medium-length, smooth, and pleasant.
