🧠 The Concept: More Than Just a Store
The idea was simple: create a space where every bottle feels like a collectible, and every visit feels like an experience.
Goa, known for its vibrant energy and rich hospitality culture, needed a liquor space that wasn’t just transactional — but transformational. Something that felt boutique, bespoke, and bold.
We didn’t want to build just another liquor store. We wanted to build a brand destination.
🧱 The Foundation: Space Meets Function
The first step was identifying a layout that works. We designed a floor plan that allows:
Easy navigation between categories (whisky, wine, vodka, craft spirits)
Flow of movement for casual visitors and serious collectors alike
Space optimization for both display and storage
Every inch of the store was planned to balance aesthetic flow with functional efficiency.
🪵 The Material Palette: Sophisticated, Yet Grounded
To set the tone, we chose a neutral color scheme layered with warm textures:
Matte black shelves to frame each bottle like art
Dark wood tones to bring in warmth and depth
Stone countertops that speak of durability and luxury
Gold accent lighting to create a signature glow that defines the Liquor Vault mood
These materials were selected not just for looks — but for the feeling they create.
💡 Lighting: Creating the Mood
Lighting is everything. We wanted to make sure the products shine — literally and figuratively. So we used:
Concealed strip LEDs behind shelves
Warm white downlights for consistent mood
Backlit signage that glows like a halo
Spotlights for rare bottle displays
This helps us guide attention, set the tone, and create a calming, premium vibe throughout the store.
🧩 Brand Elements: Designed to Be Remembered
We also crafted brand-centric design features that would stick with our visitors:
A central tasting counter with a wood-and-stone finish
Our iconic “Liquor Vault Goa” glowing wall logo
Subtle vault-inspired accents like chevron patterns and steel textures
These make the space instantly recognizable and “Insta-worthy.”
